At what point do you consider your pet is getting old? Dr. Judy challenges the misconception that pets only live into their early teens. She encourages us to consider that with the proper diet and care our pets can live into their late teens or up to 20 or more years. She goes on to point out that when our older pets develop changes in their behavior we should not immediately consider the situation beyond help and immediately seek out euthanasia. Instead, we should have our pets checked out and make see if something can be done in treatment rather than put them down. (Recorded on 11/03/2021)
