The video begins in the Manrique San Blas Barrio as we depart on moto for Barrio "Regalo de Dios" guided by Dante. Regalo de Dios is very high in the mountainside (even higher up than Santo Domingo) and I have never heard of it until Dante mentioned it. Dante told me that this area is very new and some 10 or 15 years ago there was nothing but farm land here. My overall impression was very simple, peaceful, and relaxed. This video (filmed on a Sunday) includes unique footage of the route from Manrique to Regalo de Dios, Walking in Regalo de Dios, the local swimming pool, surrounding mountains, a park, street dogs and locals.
