There is no dearth of note-taking apps on smartphones today. However, for the majority of apps, you still need to go through the process of launching the note app, adding the note and then also dismissing or deleting it. This free app offers a different approach.

How to use Notin -
Once you tap on the app icon, it overlays a small text window and a plus icon on your home screen. Once you add any note in Notin, it does not get saved in the app, instead, it gets added to your drop-down Android notification panel as an individual notification. This makes it easy to view the note at any time.

There are a few limitations: you cannot edit a note once you have added it and if you restart the phone, the notes are not saved. However, Notin works great as a basic notes app for anyone who just wants to add and remove quick notes.
