Being a Nikon shooter instantly makes you an outlier in most photo/video circles, but if you are like me, you are proud of our Nikon gear and want to get the most out of it. But, with that in mind, one issue we all faces is the steep 💰💰 associated with Z mount lenses. I am selling my Z lens and have replaced it with F mount glass and the FTZ II adapter.

But after someone flaked on picking up my Z lens, I thought I would do this shootout before selling it, is the Z mount glass that much better optically and with autofocus? I don't think it is worth the steep price tag, especially if you already have some Nikon F mount glass (post screw-drive🪛).
