Jones' legacy spans over seven decades, with contributions across genres from jazz to pop. His work on Michael Jackson's Thriller album alone is historic, blending disco, funk, rock, and R&B. With hits like "Billie Jean" and "Beat It," he shaped a sound that would define the 80s. In 1985, he famously produced “We Are the World,” a global anthem for famine relief.

Quincy’s achievements include 28 Grammy Awards, an honorary Academy Award, and numerous other accolades. He was the first Black musical director for the Oscars and broke barriers as a vice president at Mercury Records.
