The Lower Falls is the taller of the two famous Yellowstone River waterfalls in the Canyon area of Yellowstone National Park.
At just over 300' it's nearly twice as tall as Niagra Falls, and it's a beautiful, powerful scene that visitors can experience from the Brink of the Lower Falls trail. Be advised this trail is relatively short (0.8 miles round trip) but descends 600' via switchbacks. To get back, you hike back up the same switchbacks.
This is the view from the end of the trail as you can get up close and personal to this force of nature.
Please note: this is NOT National Geographic quality video! This is video shot on the fly with my iPhone during our family travels! Just wanted to share some of the beauty of this amazing US national park and all the incredible wildlife that you may encounter on your own family travels there!
