Congress' Rahul Gandhi issued a dare to the Prime Minister after a meeting of multiple Opposition parties. He attacked the government over state of the economy while asking PM Narendra Modi to address university students and tell them his plan for the future. Meanwhile, Union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad criticised the Opposition. Prasad said that Opposition unity stood exposed given the absence of some parties in the joint meeting. He also spoke on the state of the economy, claiming that global factors had adverse effect on India.
