In this video, we are doing the installation of the stainless steel protection plate for the rear door sill for the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Toyota RAV4. The plate protects the original plastic from scuffs and damage and also enhances the look of the interior.
The protection plate gets attached to the plastic using the 3M double-sided tape and adhesion promoter. We also recommend using the heat gun or hair dryer to warm the tape before application. This will create a better bond between the tape and the plastic.
