The ones who follow us on Instagram probably already know that we have started with a new project. We have travelled all the way from our Permaculture Garden in hot Sri Lanka to cold England to restore a wooden sailing boat from 1937. We have taken off all the old paint from the hull and applied traditional Chinese tung oil instead. One month we worked hard on scraping off old paint, sanding, oiling, repairing and getting the boat ready for the planned launching day. But things didn't quite turn out as planned...
