I wrote a song in memory of every Ukrainian who was killed by russian military forces during the russian war against Ukraine in 2022. Since February 24, thousands of Ukrainians died, were injured, suffered, or were forced to leave their homes due to attacks from russian military forces. This song is about destroyed cities, towns, and villages all over Ukraine.

The siren you hear at the end is an actual alarm for an airstrike, which happened just as I played the final chord of the final take of this song. Hopefully, no one suffered that time.
