Solo BNSF SD70ACE with a nice K5LLA leads a southbound/westbound BNSF auto train headed for Mexico. I haven’t caught a BNSF ACE leader down here in Corpus in months, so this was very exciting to see! The K5LLA sounded amazing, but the horn action didn’t do the horn justice. Horn action wasn’t good at all, but I guess it could’ve been worse. On the bright side, the lighting and zoom out was perfect. We don’t ever get BNSF ACE leaders here because all BNSF runs here are intermodals-Q-ROBCHI, Q-ALTROB, Q-CHIROB; manifest H-CPSSVL and H-SLVCPS, and a couple auto trains. BNSF doesn’t run coal trains here which have ACE leaders all the time, so BNSF ACE leaders here are very hard to come by. Recorded on the UP Brownsville Sub in Robstown, Texas on 4/18/2022.
