Ranked: 10 worst areas of Birmingham for assault reports
Information obtained from West Midlands Police from a Freedom of Information request has revealed the ten areas of Birmingham for which the police filed the most reports containing the word 'assault' in 2021.
A few city centre locations make the list as well as a few unexpected spots. The 'areas' in question are derived from the 69 wards of Birmingham as derived by Birmingham City Council.
While the areas do differ in size, the information is generally indicative of how many assaults there in each area, proportionate to its relative size.
