The Tesla PowerWall 2 can be charged without the use of solar panels. Using the Tesla App, you can choose how much of the PowerWall 2 you wish to be charged - it will charge using either solar panels or the grid, depending what is currently available. With this in mind, you can charge the Tesla PowerWall 2 overnight when electricity is cheaper and use that stored energy during the day when electricity is more expensive. This video calculates how much money you will save each year with this method and ultimately how many years it will take to recoup the cost of your PowerWall 2.

ABOUT LUDICROUS FEED

Ludicrous Feed is a Sydney-based YouTube channel that started in 2018 after Tom purchased his Tesla Model S.
