The front line faces a new stage of confrontation. Russians are massively using guided bomb units (GBUs)—old Soviet aerial bombs equipped with extendable wings and guidance systems. With such munitions, they destroy any fortifications and assist ground troops advance. Meanwhile, their Western analogue, JDAM, hasn’t been really effective. Still, there are several ways to solve this and counteract Russia's new strategy that already significantly impacts the front—but to do so, a move in response is to be made.
