Daniel and Maya, two strangers, meet on the beach in Tel-Aviv by chance, at five minutes to five P:M. The encounter, which starts out with a quickly formed kinship, leads to an attempt to get to know each other, realize one another's principles and get acquainted with each of their family histories. Gradually there develops an intimate relationship and a formation of joint future plans. Then begin deliberations and tensions arise, followed by concern for the future of the relationship. Slowly their differences draw them apart, and finally they separate, at 5:00 P:M, five minutes after they'd first met.
