The great infantry assault known as Pickett’s Charge, launched by Confederate forces at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 3, 1863, was the high-water mark of the Confederacy. In this video, I visit the site of Pickett’s Charge and explain the significance of the charge and the battle overall.
