The #chicagobears have now lost 5 straight games after losing on the game’s final play for the 2nd straight week and 3rd time in the last 5 games, this time to division rival #minnesotavikings. Down 24-10 entering the 4th, and 27-16 with under 2 minutes left, #calebwilliams led an improbable comeback that included the #nfl ‘s 1st onside kick recovery this season.
Williams broke the #bears rookie QB record for passing yards in a season, passing. #mitchelltrubisky. Caleb threw for 340 yards and 2 TDs, but this time, it was the defense that let him down, allowing the #vikings to drive down the field in OT for the GW FG.
#kap says it’s another game the Bears should’ve won and that coaching, yet again, got in the way of it. #cairosantos had another FG blocked in the 1st half, much the same as in last week’s loss to the #greenbaypackers. And then, despite kicking a game tying FG late, it was a fingertip away from also being blocked. Kap says #matteberflus had another bad challenge and despite the positives from Caleb Williams, this was another example of a bad team finding a way to lose.
