The 2013 MTV Movie Award Nominations Are IN!
Leading the pack this year are both Django Unchained and Ted, which both scored 7 nominations each.
Coming in strong in 3rd place is Silver Linings Playbook, which pulled in 6 nominations, including a best female performance nod for Jennifer Lawrence who took home the Oscar a few weeks ago.
Rounding out the list is The Dark Knight Rises with 5 nominations, The Avengers, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Pitch Perfect, and Skyfall with 4 nominations, Magic Mike and Les Mis got 3, and there's 1 nomination for films like Argo, Lincoln, The Campaign, The Hobbit, and Zero Dark Thirty.
Now, what's super interesting about this year's show, is that Twilight's Breaking Dawn Part 2 only received 1 nomination, for Taylor Lautner in the "Best Shirtless Performance" category.
This is super unexpected, considering Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and the rest of the gang usually sweep the entire show! Over the years, Twilight has won 16 of its 23 total nominations, including a win every year for Best Movie and Best Kiss.
Speaking of which, the movies competing for best of the year are: Django Unchained, Silver Linings Playbook, Ted, The Avengers, and The Dark Knight Rises.
The sexy starlets competing for best kiss are: Kerry Washington and Jamie Foxx in Django Unchained, Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman in Moonrise Kingdom, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper in Silver Linings Playbook, Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg in Ted, and Emma Watson and Logan Lerman in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
The big show will be hosted by funny lady Rebel Wilson, and Will Ferrel is being honored with the inaugural Comic Genius Award.
The madness goes down on April 14, LIVE on MTV.
