Anjal/Surmai (KingFish) Tawa Fry|Tulunadu/Kudla/Mangalorean special |Quick,Easy,Instant Fish Fry
A quick fish fry recipe that doesn't involve any grinding of spices.

Ingredients:
600 gms Anjal(surmai) fry cut slices(washed with turmeric salt water)
1 tsp garlic paste
½ tsp ginger paste
4 tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
3 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp jeera powder
1.5 tsp Garam masala
¼ tsp turmeric
salt
3 tsp cornflour
1 tsp roasted Besan
2 tsp finely chopped curry leaves
tamarind water(as required for thick paste) approx ½ cup
2-3 tsp coconut oil
curry leaves few
Method:
1.Add all the powders & pastes & mix together using tamarind water to make a thick paste
2.Apply on the fish.Marinate for 20 minutes or overnight.
3.Shallow Fry the marinated fish on tawa with coconut oil.
Fry on both sides on low medium flame .
Add curry leaves towards the end.
Serve with Piping hot rasam rice or have it just as a starter.
