From the wiki: "Pikmin 4 is the fourth main installment of the Pikmin series. It will release worldwide on July 21st, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch. In a Nintendo Direct on September 13th, 2022, Pikmin 4 was revealed for the first time, confirming its existence. On February 8th, June 6th, and June 21st, 2023, more details about the game were revealed. Captain Olimar, the protagonist of previous Pikmin games, once again crash-lands on a mysterious planet, and sends out a distress signal for aid. After a team of rescuers, the Rescue Corps, receive his distress signal, they immediately set off to retrieve him. But, when they enter the planet's atmosphere, they also crash-land, splitting each of them apart. You must embark on an expedition to save Captain Olimar and the other members of the Rescue Corps, and repair the Rescue Corps' ship! A space dog named Oatchi joins your adventure, and helps you with his ability to break things and drag enemies. Oatchi has a weight of 3, meaning he can drag enemies with a weight from 1 to 3, this can be upgraded to 5 then to 10. Pellets can also be dragged.

Oatchi can handle you and all of your Pikmin sitting on him, allowing you to move around easily and for non-blue Pikmin types to traverse past water. Oatchi can also sniff out for castaways. Most of them are assumed to be the missing members of the Rescue Corps and, of course, Captain Olimar."
