This geny was unreliable and needed replacing. Rather than sell it as "spares or repair" the owner let me have first bash at getting it going.
The issue was with the injector. Once I had got that sorted there was a bit more work. Replaced the tiny 12v battery with a regular one. Replaced the fuel filter with a new one and added a pre-filter. Flushed out old engine oil and replaced with good quality oil. The oil strainer was taken out and cleaned.
The machine has been test run under a decent load and worked faultlessly.
