To strengthen the EU as a global power, it needs to complete its enlargement in the Western Balkans. The EU had 55 billion euros in trade with the region in 2019 and enlargement will make for a safer, more stable Europe, says Slovak MEP Vlado Bilcik of the EPP Group. A stronger EU also means stepping up the fight against disinformation.
