A simple homemade Pretzel bites, perfect for snacking and easy to make.
Ingredients:
1). Water - 3/4 cup
2). Sugar - 1/2 Tbsp
3). Dry yeast - 1 Tsp + 1/8 Tsp
4). Melted butter - 1/2 Tbsp
5). Salt - 1/2 Tsp
6). All purpose flour - 2 cups
7). Egg - 1
8). Sea salt for sprinkling - 2 to 3 Tsp
Alkaline solution for dipping (optional)

9). Baking Soda - 3 Tbsp
10). Water - 5 cups
Instructions:
1). Melt 1/2 Tbsp of sugar in 3/4 cup of water.
2). Add it to a mixing bowl.
3). Add dry yeast (1tsp + 1/8 tsp) to the water and mix well.
4). Wait for at least 7 mins until you notice bubbles on the top layer.
5). Add melted butter (1/2 Tbsp) and mix well.
6). Add 1/2 Tsp salt and mix well.
7). Add 1 cup of all-purpose flour and mix well.
8). Add another 1 cup of all-purpose flour and knead the dough.
9). Wrap the bowl and rest in a warm place preferably for at least 2 hours.
10). Transfer the dough to a surface for kneading and knead thoroughly.
11). Take a portion of dough and roll it with hands to form a long line and cut them into small bites.
12). Add 5 cups of water into a bowl and boil them in simmer mode.
13). Add 3 Tbsp of baking soda to the water.
14). Once the water starts boiling, add those dough bites to water for a dip (not more than 30 seconds).
15). Let those dough bites dry for 2 to 3 mins.
16). Place the dough bites on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
17). Break an egg into a small bowl and brush the dough bites with the egg (egg wash).
18). Sprinkle small amounts of sea salt on those dough bites.
19). After the woven is preheated, bake them at 450 F for 8 to 10 mins.
20). Take out the tray and let them cool down for couple of mins. Taste with your favorite cheese dip.
