Detailed Video of Beetroot Pachadi - [ Ссылка ]
Beetroot Pachadi
Ingredients
Beetroot-2 small
Cmin Seeds-1/4tsp
Water-1/2cup
Grated Coconut- 4tbsp
Green Chilli-1
Mustard seeds-1/2tsp
Curd- 9 tbsp
Salt-to taste
Coconut Oil-1tbsp
For seasoning
Dry Red Chilli-2
Mustard seeds-1/4tsp
Curry leaves-1 I string
Method
Cut beetroot into medium size pieces and cook by adding 1/4 cup of water and salt in medium flame.
If u r using a cooker 4 whistle is needed.
When cool ,take a blender and blend this cook beetroot for 1 sec ..(coarsely )
Now grind cumin seeds,mustard seeds ,green chilli, ,2 no of curry leaves ,coconut and enough water to a smooth paste ..
Note: If u want u can coarsely grind mustard seeds than making it to a paste ..
Add this ground paste to the cooked beetroot (ground ) and mix well..
Allow to boil on low heat .
Now pour curd to the blender and just blend .
No need to make buttermilk consistency.. We just want to remove the lumps in the curd ..
Pour this to the gravy and mix well and cook for 1 minute for 1 minute by stirring continuously..
Check the salt ..
Then remove from the heat ..
Finally splutter mustard seeds,dry red chilly and curry leaves .
Add this to the curry and mix well..Cover with a lid for few minutes b4 serving ..
If the curd is too sour u can add very small amount of sugar to balance the taste … aarodum parayallee .. ;)

Pazham Pachadi
Ingredients
Banana/Nentra Pazham-1
Chilli Powder-1/2tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp
Salt-
Sugar-2tsp
Grated Coconut-5tbsp
Cumin seeds-1/2tsp
Mustard Seeds -1/4tsp
Curryleaves-2 strings
Coconut Oil-2tbsp
Mustard Seeds-1/2tsp
Dry red chilli-2
Curd- 8tbsp
Method
Cut banana in medium pieces and cook along with chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt and water
Make fine paste of coconut,cumin seeds, mustard ,green chilli and curry leaves
When banana is cooked well ,add coconut paste and boil well ..
Then add whipped curd and mix well..add curry leaves d sugar ..
taste it and adjust the taste ..
Dont boil the curry after adding the curd
When hot remove from the fire and season with mustard seeds,dry red chilli,and curry leaves ..
pour this to the curry,mix well and close for few minutes
so the tasty authentic kerala pazham pachadi is ready to serve

Ingredients
Ripe Pineapple-1 1/2 cup
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Chilly Powder-1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds-1/4tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp
Green Chilly-2
Salt -to taste
Sugar-2tbsp or according to ur taste
Curry Leaves-2strings
Dry Red chilly-2(chopped)
Grated coconut-1cup
Curd- 1/2 cup or according to the sourness of the curd
Coconut Oil-1tsp
Method
Peel the pineapple.. ..Cut out all the eyes carefully.Cut into slices..Remove the hard portion and cut into very small pieces . .
Cook pineapple with chilli powder ,turmeric powder ,sugar ,salt and curry leaves in 1/4 cup of water..
Grind coconut along with mustard seeds , green chilli , 2 curry leaves and cumin to a fine paste.
Now add the coconut paste to the cooked pineapple .
Mix well and reduce the flame and cook for another 10 minutes..
water should be gone ..
Now add the yogurt and mix well.no need to boil ..
Check the salt and sugar.. adjust ..
Heat coconut oil in a pan and add mustard seeds when it splutter add dry red chilly and curry leaves and pour over the pachadi..
Close it and serve when it cools down ..
So now ur delicious pachadi is ready ...
