This shows how hidden the cracks in the 'subframe panel' can be on the BMW E46.
What seems like a non existent crack/problem can actually be quite bad once the rear axle is removed.
Most of this car's cracks/damage was only visible once we'd stripped the rear axle.
Skip to 1:40 to see part of the metal subframe panel break away with a pick tool and shower me in rust before hitting the floor.
Lucky I had eye protection on!
