In the video I shared a simple yet tasty goat meat recipe, I repeat if you want red meat but you are out of time, goats meat is the best option because it takes a very short time to cook.
INGREDIENTS:
750g goats meat
1 Red onion
Spring onions
1 green capsicum
1 medium carrot
2 small tomatoes
50g tomato paste
Dark soy sauce
Brown stock
Butter
1tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp paprika powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 bullion cube
- Heat the pan and add butter, then let the butter melt
- Add the meat to the pan and stir until it starts browning, then season with salt and pepper
- Add onions and sauté until they start to lose color
- Toss in the spring onions followed by the green capsicum and carrots, let them cook for about a minute
- Add in the tomato paste, let it cook for about a minute then add the freshly chopped tomatoes, give them time to soften
- Add in the dry ingredients that is coriander, paprika, turmeric, cumin powder and the bullion cube then stir so that everything combines well
- Add dark soy sauce (about) 20mls
- Add brown stock to the pan and let it boil until the meat is finely cooked and then add fresh coriander leaves then let it simmer for about 5minutes, this helps to improve on taste and texture of the sauce.
*You can substitute stock with water but the taste will differ.
