Polio is nearly eradicated. However, across Africa, cases of polio have been increasing, as children missed out on vital vaccinations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
What does this mean?
It means millions of children are at risk of contracting polio.
We can stop this. UNICEF is calling on leaders and governments to strengthen health systems and do what is #HumanlyPossible to reach every child across Africa
