Haven't seen Shin Ultraman, but Sagisu delivered on some amazing tracks for the film. Two of which share the same melody and seem to play for the same character, Alien Mefilas. Utilizing odd alien (pun intended) sounds and psychedelic 60's-esque guitar work, the theme fits the bizarre and sly nature of the character and world. But the second half of the mix, utilizing An Out of Body State, focuses on heavy percussion and strings, alongside the signature choir singing out one's sense of euphoria and sensory overload over their own body's feeling, before breaking into their own battle with their inner demons. The theme is heroic, triumphant, badass, and the lyrics add depth to an otherwise electric and hype set of songs befitting an alien rival.
