The ANC’s top six members of its National Executive Committee are expected to meet with former president Jacob Zuma this week. The meeting comes after Police Minister Bheki Cele visited the homestead of the former leader in Nkandla to hear the concerns of the former leader and to avert what he described as a disastrous situation. Jacob Zuma could face arrest and jail time after he defied a constitutional court ruling to appear before the state capture inquiry last week. The former president is due in court after numerous delays for the start of his corruption trial in May this year. Can the ANC be trusted to avert a disaster from happening? We unpack these issues with Oscar Van Heerden, political commentator and author of the book "Two minutes to midnight- Will Ramaphosa's ANC survive".
