The easiest orchid in the world to grow! The crucifix Orchid! The Epi or Epidendrum orchids are one of the easiest orchids to grow. They are extremely undemanding, can be grown epiphytically or terrestrially, can be managed by mowing over them with a lawn mower (literally!) will take full blazing sun (for many species) can tolerate low humidity and some have extremely long lasting flowers (greater than 3 months!).

Correction, this was a hot pink flowered Epi featured here. The plant not in flower is almost undistinguishable from the orange flowered one and they grow under exactly the same conditions.
