We decided to try out a new lake....

The Specimen Lake - Extending to approximately 1.6 acres (0.6 ha) with a maximum depth of 6ft. The Specimen Lake is stocked with catfish 65lbs plus, carp up to 29lbs, perch 5lbs and koi carp 14lbs. The Specimen Lake has the benefit of 5 purpose built cabins, 20 pegs, a number of islands and established lily pads. The lake is well screened providing shelter to visiting anglers.
Wells catfish were introduced in 2003 with an original stocking of 81 catfish primarily from Burton Mere. The current catfish record is 65lbs.

Unfortunately we didn't catch today but we will be back!!
