This video shows a repair to a 24v Clarke impact wrench that was powered by Ni cad batteries which had gone faulty. This wrench had been laying around non functional for years. This unconventional repair features a complete conversion of the battery holder to suit 28.8v lithium ion Panasonic Batteries. The items used in this repair were things I have had laying around and nothing was purchased to complete the build. The items which had no useful purpose whatsoever have been converted in to a viable useful working impact wrench capable of removing car wheel studs.
