Ohio's mask mandate is coming to an end on June 2.

“It is time to end the health orders. It’s been a year. You’ve followed the protocols," DeWine said during a statewide address Wednesday afternoon.

"You’ve done what we’ve asked. You’ve bravely fought this virus. And now, our cases are down, and we have a tested and proven weapon with the vaccine that all Ohioans 12 and over can utilize.”

We're also anticipating more information from Gov. DeWine on how the state plans to hold its upcoming weekly drawings to reward a few lucky Ohioans with $1 million as a prize for getting at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. The first drawing is currently scheduled to take place on May 26.
