South African manufacturing suppliers and the Chinese buyers have signed a record 93 agreements aimed at boosting the country's struggling manufacturing industry.
The deal, which is expected to create thousands of jobs, deepen the country's industrial footprint and grow the shrinking GDP, is worth some R27 billion.
