Procedure:

1. Begin by heating a solution of 50 mL of ZnCl and 2 g of zinc dust until it reaches a boiling point.
2. Carefully introduce 3 copper pennies into the boiling solution, ensuring they touch the zinc for the reaction to take place.
3. Allow the pennies to soak for a few minutes, then delicately remove them and wash off any excess zinc. Behold, you now have shimmering silver pennies with a magical zinc coating!
4. The Grand Finale: Turning Silver into Gold! Place the dry silver penny on a hotplate set to a medium/high setting.
5. Watch in awe as the zinc diffuses into the copper, forming a brass surface that appears strikingly like gold.
6. Remove the penny and swiftly drop it into cold water to halt the reaction.
7. Dry off the penny, and voilà! You now hold a beautiful golden coin in your hands.
