The British Trampoline, Tumbling and Double mini trampoline Championships 2014. Thanks to British Gymnastics for making it such a great event that we all thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated!!! It was so exciting going up to Liverpool, to the Echo Arena to watch all the amazing, talented gymnasts compete. And what a weekend exciting, relaxing, entertaining, thrilling to watch so many talented performers compete at the highest level in their sport. Erifilly was sooo excited and had the most amazing weekend ever. Once again performing 6 great passes she saw herself become the 2014 British DMT Champion(11 -12 years. What a year it has been and what a massive learning curve since taking up full time Trampoline and DMT in January, 8mths of full time bouncing to get to the Finals. Dont know if that means she can call herself a DMTist quite yet, (8mths doesn't sound very long for this kind of sport) but she is certainly getting there and loving it. She was so happy and proud to win 3 gold medals at the Championships, just what she had hoped would happen. She could have done her passes even better but in these kind of sports you can nearly always do the pass a little better its the nature of acrobatic sports. Erifilly has definitely proven that when you love a sport, work hard and have great coaching and support you can achieve great things, (with awesome talent of course). This competition was also the first trial for the world age games in Florida, daytona beach in November :) exciting!!! The second trial being at the weekend, so its looking likely Erifilly may well get to go to Florida in November.
