The Leader of Opposition in Parliament Winnie Kiiza has said the continued detention of FDC MP Michael Kabaziguruka is raising questions. Kiiza has called for his release and that of FDC’s former presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye who is accused of treason and has been held in prison since May. Kabaziguruka was arrested last week for allegedly having links to a rebel group that police declined to name. Kiiza was speaking during a sitting of parliament today.
