This is yet more beautiful psalmody for Advent. The recording is quite old, from the compilation "Immortal Gregorian Chant". Despite the fuzzy quality, it is a purely splendid chant. The image is that famous representation of the Angelus. This hymn is obviously not the Angelus, but to make time for prayer each day is so essential, so I have chosen this image for that reason. The Latin and English follow:

Ad te levávi ánimam méam: Déus méus in te confído, non erubéscam:
neque irrídeant me inimíci méi: étenim univérsi qui te exspéctant, non confundéntur.
Vías túas, Dómine, demónstra míhi: et sémitas túas édoce me.
Glória Pátri, et Fílio, et Spirítui Sáncto. Sicut erat in princípio, et nunc, et semper,
et in saécula saeculórum. Amen.
