Witnessing the miracle of birth is extraordinarily touching. I run into this birth accidentally: the first of the twins was already out and when I arrived, the head of the second had started to poke through.
Aside from the birth itself, it is interesting to see in the video:
- how calm the mother is: she eats while giving birth!
- the newborn's attempts to walk minutes after birth
- how the first twin is set aside and only rejoins the mother once the second is out.
