Hosted in 2021 by the IHRB, ILO, and IOM, the Global Forum for Responsible Recruitment (GFRR) is a thought leadership platform for accelerating the fair, ethical, and responsible recruitment of migrant workers.
Business has a responsibility to ensure that workers in their direct operations and extended supply chains are recruited in a fair and ethical manner. This session is all about the efforts business are making to ensure this is so. It consisted of 4 segments: A corporate member or supplier of the Leadership Group for Responsible Recruitment made a short 5 minute presentation on a particular initiative that they have undertaken in their supply chain or direct operations to promote responsible recruitment. After each company presented, attendees joined small online breakout groups where they debated both the merits and the challenges inherent in the initiative presented.
