This art had its roots in India, arriving at Andalucia in the XVI Century A.D. Firstly, flamenco was based on songs; then, hand clapping and guitar tunes were added. Finally, appeared the dance, starting with shoe tapping. Flamenco is now considered cultural patrimony of Humankind.
