Born in September 2013, Sherry Tse began learning violin at age four. She is studying with Mr. Fan Ting and Miss Lei Xin (Hong Kong) and Professor Robert Canetti and Mrs. Bella Canetti at the External Studies Institute of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Shortly after her 8th birthday, she had her orchestral debut as a soloist with the Inheritage Philharmonic under Mr Fan Ting performing Mozart Violin Concerto in G major 3rd movement. In June 2022, she performed Sarasate's Introduction et Tarantelle with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Mr Lio Kuokman. She also performed the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor 1st movement with the Asian Chamber Orchestra and Mr Eric Chan in October 2022. In March 2023, Sherry performed Fisherman Harvest Song (orchestra commissioned arrangement premiere) with the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and Mr Chew Hee Chiat. In early April 2023, Sherry performed the Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1 with the North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and Miss Sol Chin at Prague Rudolfinum and Saigon Philharmonic Orchestra and Mr Fan Ting at the Saigon Opera House.
At age 7, she passed the ABRSM grade 8 violin exam with Distinction. Sherry
is a laureate in multiple international open competitions and has won 1st Prizes and Gold Awards in New York, London, Vienna, Bonn, Salzburg, Singapore and Hong Kong. In June 2023, she appeared as guest performer in the Variety Show and Entertainment Channel at the China Central Television. In 2021, Sherry had participated in the 6th International Stage4Kids Festival in Hamburg, Germany; Jerusalem Seasons Festival "Spring Concert" and Christmas Charity Concert for Oxfam. In April 2020, Sherry was invited by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra to participate in the "Phil Your Life with Music - Underneath the Lion Rock" video.
