Schuylkill River Trail between Birdsboro & Douglassville ending at Morlatton Village. which has some of the oldest structures in Berks County. P.O.V. Video with directions, riding tips, points of interest.

Trailhead in Birdsboro is along Armorcast Road, which runs parallel to route 724 east of route 345. Ample parking at trailhead. Turkey Hill Market close by at junction of 345 & 724 .

Rail trail is generally flat (except where noted), crosses route 724 twice, use caution at both of these, gravel, some paved. Spectacular bridge crossing over the Schuylkill River. Horses and hikers also use this trail. Bicycles defer to both.

Old Philadelphia Pike at Morlattan Village is only lightly traveled by vehicles. There is also trailhead parking at Morlatton Village.
