A display of error 1726 on your printer indicates a malfunction with the maintenance cartridge.
The following are some of the causes of the error
• Full maintenance cartridge
• A faulty maintenance cartridge chip
Now, let’s look at the best solutions to fix the error
Replace the maintenance cartridge
Since error 1726 is generally associated with a faulty or full maintenance cartridge, replacing it will clear the error. To do this:
• Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the Mains supply.
• Rotate the coin screw securing the maintenance in a counterclockwise direction to unscrew it.
• Insert your index finger into the hole on the maintenance cover and pull it backward to remove it.
• This will give you access to the maintenance cartridge.
• Pull the cartridge out of the printer and dispose of it properly.
• Insert a new maintenance cartridge into the empty slot until it fits.
• Remount the maintenance.
This should clear the error when you power the printer on.
