Wednesday, May 29, 2002. Game 5 of the 2002 Eastern Conference Finals between the New Jersey Nets & the Boston Celtics at Continental Airlines Arena. After the Celtics had trimmed a 20-point deficit to just 1 (& even wasted a couple of opportunities to take their 1st lead since Paul Pierce scored the 1st points of the night from the free throw line), the Nets explode for a 20-1 burst to blow the game wide open once again & for good this time. '"I didn't think you can have a 20-1 run in the playoffs", Nets head coach Byron Scott said, adding how they got it done: "We got back to being aggressive, getting them one shot and then rebounding. I just wanted us to fly up and down the floor and get them in transition game, and we got some easy buckets and that got us rolling."
