The Italian navy has released dramatic video of the moment a migrant vessel rocks and then capsizes, throwing its human cargo into the sea.

STORY: The Italian navy has released dramatic video of a migrant vessel capsizing on Wednesday (May 25).
The large wooden fishing boat overcrowded with migrants capsized off the coast of Libya, with some 562 people rescued and five found dead.
Video showed the vessel rocking violently before completely flipping over. People dived into the sea or desperately clambered up the side of the boat.
The Italian navy patrol boat Bettica saw that the vessel was in difficulty and approached it to hand out life jackets, but before it could begin a rescue the boat flipped over due to the sudden movement of the passengers, a statement said.
Navy frigate Bergamini deployed a helicopter, and several rubber motor boats were used in the rescue operations.
The Italian coastguard said on Thursday (May 26) a second migrant boat had capsized in the Mediterranean and 88 people have been rescued while the number of possible dead is unknown.
