The production of wooden chipped shingles is traditional, ie. By splitting from spruce wood (Red spruce, or common), harvested mainly in winter. Wood with dense annual rings is selected. The shingles are then cut, levelled and allowed to dry slowly. After drying, it is folded into packages. Shingles are produced in lengths of 30 cm, 40 cm, 50 cm.
