The ANC in Johannesburg says it’s deeply unhappy with the decision of
the High Court that found the appointment of city manager Floyd Brink
unconstitutional, unlawful and invalid.
Brink was appointed in February this year by the ANC, EFF and
Patriotic Alliance administration.
Acting judge Steven Budlender set the appointment aside on the grounds
that the position had not been properly advertised.
