In this video I examine the record of heavy fighter ace Hans Joachim Jabs who managed to do what many would consider impossible based on their understanding of the capabilities of the BF110 and it's record as a fighter aircraft.
Jabs was an exceptional pilot who flew the 110 for the entire war as both a day and night fighter and became an ace outright in both settings. Amassing 50 kills in total and only being shot down once while landing after having downed two out of six pursuant Spitfire MkIX in his heavily outclassed BF110 night fighter late in the war.
His career up until now has not been presented on YouTube in the English language so I hope you enjoy this discussion of this legendary pilot's outstanding achievements while flying an aircraft that was outdated by the time the war began and helps people realize that through the use of skill and tactics the seemingly impossible is not only possible but actually happened.
