Arts Management Cultural Policy Class:
We need to focus on the intrinsic benefits for supporting the arts as well as the instrumental. We have become a society that needs proof to support policy, and have lost focus on supporting things just because they are innately good; things that make us more well rounded, more positive and a positively impacted population. While it is easy to advocate for the arts with the facts and figures we have to back them up, we must not underestimate supporting something because of its intrinsic benefits.
